About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You are part of our Authorization and Access Management team.
- Your focus is on developing core software modules to ensure regulatory-compliant access to sensitive data sets and their logging within the PAM area.
- You accompany the development lifecycle of features from requirements discussion through initial planning and design to rollout.
- You develop and maintain interfaces to directory services such as RACF and LDAP as well as to various services, including DB2/z, DB2 LUW, Oracle and OpenSearch – with the prospect of connecting additional systems in the future.
- You are responsible for unit testing, bug fixing, maintenance and providing last-level support.
- Active participation in agile development projects in the security domain is also part of your responsibilities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You have a degree in Computer Science and many years of relevant professional experience in the IT (security) field or a comparable qualification, as well as experience leading cross-functional (sub)projects.
- You have strong programming skills in Java and relevant frameworks, as well as experience with JSP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TypeScript and Angular. You are familiar with design patterns, Clean Code practices and test-driven development, for example using JUnit and Playwright.
- You understand the importance of documentation in a regulatory environment and treat it as an integral part of your daily work.
- You have solid SQL knowledge and experience using REST APIs. You also have basic knowledge of containers, Helm and Kubernetes. Ideally, you have experience with development and testing tools such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, Jenkins and GitLab (CI/CD).
- You have business-fluent German skills (at least C1 level) and good English skills (at least B2 level).
- In your daily work you think ahead, identify automation opportunities and see your working environment as part of a larger whole. You demonstrate a high degree of initiative, willingness to learn and commitment.
