About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You are responsible for and shape the solution architecture of the Trusted DevOps (Developer) Platform — Banking Cloud, ensuring consistency, cohesion, scalability, security and efficiency of the overall solution. This includes built-in security across the entire DevSecOps lifecycle with security automation, policies, security guardrails and gates.
You take on a coordinating role across the multi-layered architecture levels and ensure a consistently aligned, internally coherent overall architecture across all involved domains. You design APIs and integration points of the Trusted DevOps (Developer) Platform to enable seamless integration of the various sub-solutions.
In cooperation with the architecture owners and platform teams of the involved domains, you define the target architectures, architectural guardrails and binding specifications for the entire Trusted DevOps (Developer) Platform, the associated toolchain and the technologies used, such as Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab), Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and cloud operating environments.
You work closely with architecture owners, platform teams and security functions and ensure communication between architecture roles as well as an integrated architecture that takes governance requirements into account across all relevant components of the Trusted DevOps (Developer) Platform.
You support the entire lifecycle of platform features and capabilities from concept and prototyping through to production implementation.

Requirements

What you’ll need

You have a degree in (business) computer science or a comparable qualification and several years of relevant professional experience (more than 6 years) in the architecture of complex IT systems.
You have strong knowledge of platform architecture, cloud technologies and container/orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
You have experience in DevSecOps environments, particularly with CI/CD (e.g., GitLab), Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and automated platform processes.
You are business-fluent in German (at least C1 level) and business-fluent in English (C1 level).
You have experience collaborating with various architecture roles and coordinating complex, distributed structures.
You demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to combine different perspectives into a viable overall solution.
