About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop tailored AI applications with a focus on generative AI.
Evaluate the quality of models with respect to correctness, robustness and fairness.
Ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with developers and quality engineers.
Implement RAG applications and leverage agentic frameworks for innovative solutions.
Support DevOps teams with best practices in LLMOps and security concepts.
Select and evaluate off-the-shelf AI systems, taking cost, latency and scalability into account.
Generate datasets for evaluation and implement industry standards in the field of AI.
Conduct market research on new AI solutions to assess their potential for applications.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in (business) computer science, mathematics, physics or a comparable qualification.
Several years of relevant professional experience.
Experience leading cross-functional (sub)projects.
Solid knowledge of Python, particularly in GenAI and agentic AI tools (e.g., LlamaIndex, LangChain/LangGraph).
Experience developing container-based solutions and cloud solutions.
Ideally experience in regulated environments and knowledge of standards such as BAIT, DORA or ISO 27001.
Business-fluent German (at least C1) and good English skills (B2 level).
High degree of personal responsibility, team spirit and an agile working style.
