About the role

  • You will work closely with our UX designers and UX researchers and gain practical insight into the entire UX development process.
  • You will support the design of user-friendly interfaces and the optimization of the user experience, particularly for applications in the area of technical administration.
  • Using Figma, you will create screen designs and interactive prototypes based on our Design System and actively contribute your design ideas.
  • You will conduct reviews of the final implementation, support quality assurance, and participate in coordination meetings with internal stakeholders and clients.
  • You will help align and simplify administrative processes in the infrastructure environment and coordinate these activities with the responsible specialist departments.

Requirements

  • You are studying Media Design, Media & Interaction Design, User Experience Design or a comparable field and have completed at least three semesters of your Bachelor's degree.
  • You bring initial practical experience with design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Office.
  • You have very good German skills (C1) and good English skills (B2), both written and spoken.
  • You work analytically, solution-oriented and independently, and you enjoy structured work — also for recurring or administrative tasks.
  • You are communicative, team-oriented and customer-focused, and you present yourself confidently when interacting with different stakeholders.
Benefits
  • Practical experience: With us you have the chance to gain hands-on experience through varied tasks in your preferred field and to work on real projects.
  • Mentoring and support: Experienced student supervisors will accompany and support you throughout your assignment. They coordinate technical onboarding and provide regular feedback.
  • Flexible working: We value a good work–life balance. We offer flexible working time models and operate in a balanced hybrid mix of remote work and presence in modern office environments to support the optimal compatibility of work and study.
  • Networking events: You have the opportunity to network at regular meetings and events during work hours and after work with other students and employees. Make friends over table football (foosball) and Nintendo Switch breaks, or gain exclusive insights into other companies within the financial group.
  • Discounts and additional benefits: Enjoy attractive offers such as discounted lunches in our staff restaurants, company sports groups and other corporate benefits.
  • Career model and further training: Develop professionally, methodically and personally with us through varied tasks and our broad seminar program.
  • Theses and internships: We support you in finding and implementing topics for your thesis. You can also apply to us for (mandatory) internships.
  • Sustainability: Our barrier-free locations have good transport connections and are easily accessible by public transport. Bicycle parking and parking spaces with charging stations are available across the site.
  • Our company values: Respectful, open and honest, responsible, supportive and results-oriented — guided by team spirit and a desire for innovation and intensive knowledge sharing.
  • Kununu: We are a Top Company 2024 and proud of a Kununu score of 4.2 and a recommendation rate of ≥ 90%.
