About the role

  • You accompany the entire software lifecycle of banking applications and are responsible for developing and enhancing frontend applications.
  • You create technical concepts and implement them in coordination with UX designers, product owners, and system architects.
  • You develop using modern programming languages with mainstream frameworks and forward-looking database technologies.
  • You are responsible for performing unit tests, bug fixing, maintenance, and Level‑3 (last-level) support.
  • You are passionate about clean code and modular development and enjoy refactoring to continuously improve the codebase.

Requirements

  • You have a degree in computer science with several years of relevant professional experience, or vocational training in IT with extensive relevant professional experience, or an equivalent qualification.
  • You have solid knowledge of working with microservices (Java & Spring Boot) and frontend applications (Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS).
  • You are experienced with DevSecOps, OpenShift, Helm, and Cypress.
  • You have business‑fluent German skills (at least C1 level) and good English skills (B2 level).
  • Prior experience in agile development (Scrum, SAFe) is an advantage.
  • You are characterized by strong teamwork, good communication skills, and the ability to think outside the box.
