About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Administer and scale OpenShift clusters: capacity planning, upgrades, security and RBAC
  • Manage deployments using ArgoCD following GitOps principles
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines
  • Strengthen Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code practices
  • Implement and optimize observability with Prometheus, Grafana and ELK
  • Support project teams in using the platform
  • Contribute to the standardization and harmonization of environments
  • Participate in continuous improvement and in increasing the reliability of services
  • Operate on a critical production platform based on VMware/ESX, OpenShift and a GitOps pipeline
  • Act as an OpenShift technical expert, driver of the DevSecOps transformation and reference for GitOps and automation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant production experience and adherence to DevSecOps principles
  • Strong mastery of OpenShift or Kubernetes
  • Comfortable with automated, GitOps-oriented environments
  • Good understanding of production concerns: availability, performance, security and backup
  • Collaborative, cross-functional mindset with Dev, Ops, Infra and Security teams
  • Proven production OpenShift administration skills: upgrades, operator lifecycle, OLM and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of RBAC, SCC, namespace management and quotas
  • Familiarity with Routes, certificate management and NetworkPolicy
  • Experience managing PV/PVC, StorageClass and CSI
  • Familiarity with ArgoCD, GitOps, Git and CI/CD, notably GitLab CI or Jenkins
  • Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Alertmanager and Thanos
  • Knowledge of Linux and Service Mesh, notably Istio
  • Ansible, Terraform, Kafka, APIs and microservices are a plus
