About the role
- Define, design, and govern the overall ServiceNow solution architecture
- Partner with customers to understand business and technical requirements
- Ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing platform solutions aligned with enterprise standards
- Design and architect scalable, distributed, on-premises and cloud-based services and applications integrating across multiple technologies
- Lead the successful implementation of architectural designs while managing expectations, risks, governance, and best practice principles
- Develop reliable technical solution plans, including estimates and optimized delivery approaches
- Analyze complex functional and non-functional requirements, making appropriate design adjustments and providing effort estimations
- Define, develop, and maintain reference architectures, domain models, and design patterns
- Identify emerging and disruptive technologies that deliver business value
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline
- 8–10+ years of overall IT experience, with a strong focus on application hosting, solution architecture, and design
- At least 5 years of ServiceNow Subject Matter Expertise (SME), including solution design and platform architecture.
- Experience delivering innovative and effective solutions to complex business challenges, with a strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITIL) processes, metrics, and KPIs
- Solid understanding of modern web technologies, including HTML, CSS, XML, and JavaScript/AJAX
- Strong experience in designing and supporting third-party integrations with the ServiceNow platform using REST, SOAP, SFTP, MID Server, and related technologies
- Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise technical components such as LDAP, SSO, SSL, and other security/infrastructure technologies
- Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and contribute to a high-performance delivery environment
