About the role

  • You lead medium-sized project teams or subprojects in a heterogeneous multi-project environment (>30 team members, >5 partner companies/subcontractors).
  • Responsible for costs and for improving revenue and margin in external, national and international (NATO) projects with volumes up to €20 million per year.
  • Responsible for the technical deliverable (scope of delivery and services) as well as internal and external reporting.
  • Planning and leading the execution phase through to project completion, taking into account customer-, company- and department-specific requirements.
  • Direct management and control of service-delivering units, partner companies, subcontractors, and assigned staff for whom you hold technical leadership responsibility.
  • Management of change and claims processes within your projects.
  • Conduct stakeholder management, document project results and ensure compliance with project management processes and methods.

Requirements

  • Extensive professional experience as a Senior Project Manager is required, as well as an appropriate certification.
  • Experience in multi-project environments and multi-project coordination.
  • Successfully completed university degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable field.
  • Experience in system integration, migration and rollout projects.
  • Knowledge of the specifics of various architectural approaches (especially cloud architectures).
  • Very good German language skills.
  • Business-fluent English.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
  • Ability to analyze complex project situations and resolve them under your leadership within a heterogeneous team.
  • Experience leading large teams and managing project managers.
