About the role

  • Within Atos' railway programs, you will act as an AI Expert to design, integrate and deploy controlled AI at the core of control-command and signalling software.
  • You will work on safety-critical systems in a highly regulated environment and ensure that AI solutions: deliver measurable operational value, comply with functional safety requirements (FDMS / RAMS), are explainable, traceable and progressively integrated into existing systems.
  • As the AI subject-matter expert, you will play a key role in awareness-building, support and transformation across technical teams, project teams and management.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Significant experience in AI applied to complex software systems
  • Strong knowledge of safety-critical and/or real-time systems
  • Strong awareness of functional safety considerations (FDMS / RAMS)
  • Ability to design pragmatic, explainable and secure AI solutions
  • Excellent analytical, mentoring and communication skills.
