About the role

  • Participate in building a new cloud-native SSO based on NGINX and Kubernetes
  • Learn the current SSO architecture (Apache + VMs)
  • Contribute to the design of a new SSO front based on NGINX
  • Build a Docker image of NGINX tailored to the SSO's requirements
  • Deploy this new SSO on a Kubernetes cluster
  • Implement modern best practices: configuration as code, monitoring, scaling, automated testing
  • Take part in a progressive migration to the new architecture

Requirements

  • Understanding of how a modern SSO works (without the business-specific details)
  • NGINX (reverse proxy, routing, certificates, performance)
  • Docker & containerization
  • Kubernetes (deployments, Services, scaling, monitoring)
  • CI/CD (deployment automation)
  • Basic knowledge of web authentication (OIDC/SAML — just enough to understand the concepts)
