About the role
- Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the transition of PSAPs to NG9-1-1 services
- Serve as the primary point of contact for PSAP leadership
- Conduct PSAP readiness assessments and transition planning workshops
- Develop and maintain detailed transition plans and schedules
- Track progress against milestones and proactively resolve issues
- Facilitate meetings with PSAP staff, vendors, and governing authorities
- Prepare status reports for leadership, boards, and oversight committees
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience supporting PSAP operations, 9-1-1 systems, or emergency communications projects
- Demonstrated experience with NG9-1-1 transition, implementation, or modernization efforts
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
- Knowledge of PSAP call handling workflows and operational environments
