About the role
- Prepare technical proposals for national and international RFPs as the responsible SAP lead for an end-to-end solution focused on the SAP healthcare market.
- Take responsibility for the solution in accordance with customer requirements and for developing innovative roadmap scenarios: o Develop the bid strategy ("win strategy" together with colleagues from the SAP practice, account and sales teams) o Translate the bid strategy into a high-level solution design ("solution big picture"): translate analysis of customer-specific requirements into a solution design, taking into account industry-specific SAP components such as: ▪ SAP IS‑H (Industry Solution for Healthcare) and migration to S/4HANA in a side-by-side architecture.
- Manage functional and technical SAP architects and experts in the preparation of proposals, presentations and workshops.
- Develop a project plan tailored to the customer, aligned with SAP Activate.
- Coordinate bid costing, develop and/or validate effort estimates.
- Coach and provide technical leadership to the Atos team in strategy and implementation projects for our healthcare clients and to subject-matter experts in the team using consulting methodologies.
- Build and further develop the Atos Eviden SAP consulting portfolio within your area of responsibility, and develop methods, tools and consulting models.
- Deliver presentations and conduct workshops.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues and partners from other units (e.g., SAP Cloud/Hosting, non-SAP development and integration, enterprise architecture, application management and operations, etc.).
- Design and elaborate healthcare-industry-specific digital business models for our clients, derive value chains, processes and technology strategies, and define transformation approaches based on current SAP technologies.
- Capture business-specific processes, identify process improvement opportunities and advise on the redesign of process flows.
- Define business benefits and calculate business cases for transformations, and prepare decision papers and assessments for our clients' top-level management.
- Independently lead interdisciplinary project teams and coordinate relevant interfaces with the customer and within Atos.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of the current SAP portfolio, S/4HANA implementation and rollout methodologies (e.g., SAP Activate), conversions, migrations and other SAP IT trends (e.g., cloud adoption), combined with industry knowledge in healthcare (e.g., health insurers, hospitals or medical care centers). Knowledge of SAP IS‑H including patient management, case management and integration with clinical subsystems.
- Experience presenting bids and proposals to decision-makers at the client side.
- Fluent written and spoken German and English.
- Experienced in international and/or distributed project work (e.g., collaboration with nearshore and offshore delivery units).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with key roles in the bid team and with internal and external stakeholders such as clients and partners.
- Basic SAP pre-sales and bid management knowledge.
- Strong commercial mindset, analytical skills, organizational talent, quality orientation, motivation and enthusiasm.
- Degree in business administration, engineering, business informatics or computer science, or equivalent qualification.
- Several years of experience (min. 8 years) and proven success with clients in both SAP pre-sales and project business, e.g., in roles such as SAP Senior or Principal Consultant, SAP Project Manager, SAP Pre-Sales Consultant and/or SAP Bid Manager, preferably at a consulting firm or system integrator.
