About the role
- Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments, ensuring stability, performance, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cluster-level, node-level, and workload-level issues.
- Work with workloads and services that integrate deeply with Kubernetes (operators, controllers, sidecars, monitoring agents, etc.).
- Implement and maintain GitOps-based workflows using Argo CD.
- Manage application packaging and deployment using Helm charts.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell and Bash/Python scripts to automate Kubernetes operations, cluster maintenance, and daily routine tasks.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Define branching strategies, approval flows, and automated deployments to Kubernetes environments.
- Integrate quality, security, and compliance checks into the build and deployment process.
- Evaluate and adopt modern Kubernetes tools, patterns, and techniques.
- Continuously learn and stay updated on DevOps, cloud, automation, and container technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on DevOps or Kubernetes engineering experience.
- Strong experience operating and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD.
- Experience with Helm, Docker/Containerd, and containerized application management.
- Practical experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Experience in version control using GitHub, GitLab, or Azure Repos.
- Experience with Terraform, Helm, Ansible, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Strong scripting experience (PowerShell).
- Awareness of security best practices for cloud-native and DevOps environments.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
