About the role
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using IaC principles (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Ansible)
- Cloud Development: Build, deploy, and maintain cloud-native IT systems and services using major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Automation & Scripting: Develop automation scripts to streamline deployment and configuration processes
- Microservices & Containerization: Architect and implement scalable, distributed systems using Docker and Kubernetes
- CI/CD & DevOps Practices: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, fostering collaboration between development and operations teams
- Serverless & Modern Architectures: Develop and support serverless applications leveraging cloud-native services
- Security & Compliance: Apply best practices for cloud security, access control, encryption, and compliance with organizational security standards
- Monitoring & Logging: Set up and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system reliability and visibility
- Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with cross-functional teams and maintain clear documentation for infrastructure and code
Requirements
- Proven experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Strong technical skills in IT system deployment, assembly, and administration
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket)
- Solid understanding of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Nexus)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive mindset
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
