About the role
- As a Product Manager, you’ll help shape the future of their platform, guiding cross-functional teams across engineering, design, and operations.
- You’ll own the lifecycle of key features — from discovery to delivery — ensuring their solutions are not only innovative and scalable but also accessible, secure, and compliant with HIPAA and SOC 2 standards.
- Collaborate with leadership, customers, and partners to refine product vision and strategy across the multi-tenant SaaS platform.
- Conduct discovery sessions to validate customer needs, market opportunities, and program requirements.
- Translate high-level business goals into actionable roadmaps that deliver measurable impact.
- Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle, working closely with engineers, designers, and QA to deliver high-quality features.
- Break down complex workflows (e.g., eligibility screening, income and employment verification, PDF pre-fill, automated workflows) into clear, prioritized backlogs.
- Use agile best practices (scrum, kanban) to run sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Clearly communicate priorities, trade-offs, and timelines, balancing customer needs with technical feasibility and compliance requirements.
- Prepare product briefs, release notes, and training materials for internal teams and clients.
- Monitor feature performance and user behavior to inform iteration and optimization.
- Collaborate with data and engineering teams to integrate insights from analytics and monitoring platforms (e.g., Datadog, Segment, QuickSight).
- Stay informed on industry trends in SaaS, benefits technology, and regulatory environments to guide innovation.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in product management for SaaS platforms or B2B/B2C applications
- Proven track record of delivering complex products, ideally in multi-tenant, API-driven, or compliance-sensitive environments
- Experience delivering AI/GenAI features end-to-end, including products leveraging LLMs, document processing, intelligent automation, or conversational interfaces
- Working knowledge of LLM capabilities and tradeoffs (accuracy, latency, cost, reliability)
- Experience collaborating closely with engineering and data teams to integrate model APIs and AI services into production systems
- Strong collaboration skills with engineering, design, and operations teams; ability to lead discussions across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with agile/lean product development processes
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (AWS), APIs, and data integrations (HRIS, payroll, third-party APIs), and automation workflows
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Experience in early-stage growth startup environments is preferred
- Background in engineering, computer science, data science, machine learning, or analytics is a strong bonus.
