About the role

  • Lead procurement processes for services and, where applicable, materials related to the execution of service contracts, acting in a consultative capacity with client/internal stakeholders;
  • Manage strategic supply categories, with emphasis on service contracts applicable to mining, including maintenance, operations, dams, drilling, sampling, assembly and electromechanical services, among others;
  • Develop, qualify, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers, ensuring optimal commercial, technical and operational terms;
  • Draft, review, negotiate and manage procurement and service contracts, paying close attention to technical and financial clauses and risk mitigation measures, especially for contracts with high operational impact;
  • Analyze performance indicators, market scenarios and trends to support strategic decisions and cost-optimization initiatives;
  • Ensure process compliance with internal policies, corporate standards and procurement best practices;
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to suppliers, contracts and continuity of critical services;
  • Lead and support continuous improvement projects within the area, following established structures and workflows;
  • Manage a strategic portfolio of contracts of varying size and complexity, including high-value agreements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Production/Industrial Engineering or related fields;
  • Postgraduate specialization or courses in Supply/Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, Negotiation or related areas preferred;
  • Proven experience in strategic procurement and in contracting services and purchasing materials for the mining sector;
  • Experience managing highly complex service contracts with significant financial impact;
  • Knowledge of supplier and contract risk analysis;
  • Experience evaluating technical documentation with direct impact on costs and operational risks;
  • Advanced Excel skills;
  • Experience in cost reduction and optimization projects preferred;
  • Intermediate English preferred;
  • Experience with e-procurement platforms and/or ERPs (TOTVS / Datasul) preferred.
