About the role

  • Cross functions forecast collection for material procurement planning and supply chain preparation.
  • Safety stock strategic regularly review, adjustment planning and achieving.
  • PO management for PO processing, confirmation, delivery, shortage alert and tracking.
  • Make adjustments to the schedule to accommodate near-term orders that differ from the agreed sales and operations (S&OP) plan.
  • Establish critical inventory parameters — such as safety stock settings, replenishment quantity and launch quantity — taking into account constraints and input, such as lead time and order cycle time.
  • Work with procurement and suppliers on service-level agreements to align lead times and minimum order quantities.
  • Delivery risk problem solving, and escalation.
  • Urgent response steps activate and tracking once material shortage happen.
  • Issues coordination incl. good receiving, invoicing, payment, final acceptance.
  • Develop monthly inventory budgets with finance and measure performance Material safety stock /shipping frequency on time adjustment based on actual situation.
  • Report on back orders, short stock, excess items and slow-moving inventory to the parties concerned.
  • Analyse supplier performance, inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste or optimize customer service.
  • Excessive material risk mitigation leading and coordination.
  • Correct master data maintenance.
  • Data and supporting documents organizing for day to day needs.
  • Defining risk materials list and regular update.
  • Multiple resource, business contingency plan proposal for supply chain optimization.
  • Compliance transaction study cooperating with other functions.
  • Cross function communication for supply chain judgement.
  • Transparent in Global procurement, BU Sourcing and Plant Purchasing.
  • Achieve individual DPI/KPI.
  • Monthly/ weekly statistic output and failure indicator following up.
  • Help or give the guidance to the planning buyer SAP/ Ariba Key User System enablement.
  • Finish other tasks assigned by superior on time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or equivalent
  • Min 5 years of experience in/a a Purchasing role.
  • Teamwork player, open mind, fast learning and good communication;
  • Knowledge of MRP;
  • Experience with SAP, Ariba;
  • Core member in IT platform development project team.
  • Proficient in English/German language.
  • Experience on new plant set up project.
