About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Establish an analysis methodology based on the safety classification of components and the applicable regulatory/standards environment.
- Validate assumptions and results with development leads.
- Create and populate finite element models.
- Perform mechanical calculations for a variety of static and dynamic load cases.
- Support and validate equipment design assumptions.
- Post-process and analyze obtained results.
- Write calculation reports.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Engineering degree (or equivalent) with a mechanical specialization.
- At least 5 years' experience in the energy industry, naval sector, special-purpose machinery, or more generally with large, complex mechanical systems.
- Experience in structural analysis is required.
- Additional skills in vibration analysis, fluid/CFD analysis, or piping flexibility analysis are a plus.
- Proficiency in at least one mainstream analysis software (Ansys, Abaqus, Robot, PipeStress, etc.) is mandatory; Ansys experience is preferred.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
