About the role

  • You will strengthen our teams handling control-and-command projects for new, game-changing nuclear industry players
  • You will be responsible for design studies during the Detailed Preliminary Design (Avant-Projet Détaillé - APD) phase
  • Preparation of functional specifications for various processes and pieces of equipment
  • Design of control and instrumentation systems: allocation of functions to different systems, architecture of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and supervisory systems (SCADA or SNCC), and technical design
  • Consideration of normative and regulatory constraints
  • Drafting specifications for future suppliers responsible for the development and implementation of the systems
  • Participating in the selection of these suppliers.

Requirements

  • You hold a Master’s degree (Bac+5) with a specialization in automation/industrial IT or industrial control systems
  • You have at least 10 years’ experience in the design of control-and-command systems, ideally in the nuclear sector or another high-safety industry (Defense, Energy), with preferred exposure to systems engineering
  • Ideally familiar with standards and references impacting control-and-command systems such as RCC-E, IEC 61508, IEC 61513 and IEC 61226
  • Organized, rigorous, methodical and capable of synthesizing complex information
  • Able to be proactive and propose solutions to support key decision-making
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of autonomy in your work.
