About the role
- Analysis of geotechnical, geological and seismic data, identification of discrepancies and proposal of recommendations for additional investigations
- Actively participate in the screening process and site selection for AMR/SMR, nuclear power plants and waste storage sites
- Mastery of design rules and sizing of geotechnical structures under static and seismic loading
- Deep foundation calculations (piles, micropiles, etc.)
- Preparation of design calculation reports
- Estimation of construction costs and project schedules
Requirements
- Master's degree (Engineering school or equivalent university degree)
- 2 to 5 years' experience in a similar role in an engineering consultancy
- Good knowledge of geology, geotechnics and strength of materials
- Principles of numerical modeling (soil-structure interaction, both static and dynamic)
- Good level of technical English
- Experience with geotechnical calculation and modeling software (Plaxis, Talren, GIS) is a plus
