About the role
- Perform technical automation and supervision analyses for the design of ITER's safety-critical central control and command system
- Specify, design and develop software libraries, proof-of-concept prototypes, integration support tools and test benches
- Participate in testing by writing test plans and preparing final test documentation
- Take part in the integration and commissioning of the initial control and command systems
- Manage software version control and improve existing testing tools and processes
- Support ITER engineers with supervision and technical review of work
Requirements
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) with a specialization in automation (preferably from an engineering school)
- More than 3 years of experience in this technical field
- Knowledge of SIEMENS PLCs and their programming environments (STEP7 and/or TIA Portal)
- Experience with supervision/HMIs (SCADA)
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
