About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide service to customers regarding claims involving auto total losses
- Prepare necessary correspondence to settle total loss claims with insureds, claimants, and their legal representatives
- Issue indemnity payments with a focus on accuracy of settlements
- Review all options, conditioning, and prior damage to confirm accurate cash value
- Explain procedures and answer inquiries for adjusting total loss claims
- Review evaluation documents for accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Negotiate settlement of first and third party total losses
- Monitor first and third-party rental
- Monitor title procurement process to ensure timely processing

Requirements
What you’ll need- Associates or bachelor’s degree required
- Adjuster Licensing as required by state
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in handling non-standard auto insurance claims
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrative ease of both verbal and written formats
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- A high degree of motivation and team orientation
