About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the release pipeline for both modern and legacy platforms and systems
  • Drive the release process from development to production environments ensuring smooth deployments and application availability
  • Collaborate with offshore release engineers and onshore release managers
  • Implement and manage fully automated deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps
  • Perform deployments and participate in coordinated feature release activities into non-production and production environments
  • Facilitate communication, knowledge sharing, and collaboration between release engineering and other stakeholders
  • Create, manage, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration
  • Optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to maintain scalable, reproducible environments
  • Work with Docker and containerized technologies
  • Leverage Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and visualization of application performance
  • Identify and troubleshoot application issues and performance bottlenecks
  • Create and maintain detailed release documentation and share knowledge with team members

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Expertise in automating build and deployment processes across multiple environments
  • Experience with Azure DevOps tools for CI/CD pipelines, source control, and artifact management
  • Strong understanding of version control using Git and branching strategies
  • Hands-on experience with ArgoCD for GitOps-based deployments and managing Kubernetes resources
  • Expertise in creating, managing, and deploying Helm charts for Kubernetes applications
  • Solid understanding of Docker, containerization, and orchestration using Kubernetes
  • Experience in deploying and managing containerized applications on Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS)
  • Experience with managing base images, image repositories, and Docker container registries in a cloud environment
  • Proficiency in managing Azure App Services, SQL Databases, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB deployments
  • Experience using SonarQube and Arnica to ensure high-quality code standards
  • Experience working with: Drupal (CMS), Keycloak, .NET Core API, React.js & Node.js microservices
  • Strong problem-solving skills for debugging complex issues in production environments.
  • Familiarity with Azure PaaS services and integrating it into deployment pipelines.
  • Experience supporting QA automation efforts and ensuring integration with the CI/CD pipeline.
