About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the release pipeline for both modern and legacy platforms and systems
Drive the release process from development to production environments ensuring smooth deployments and application availability
Collaborate with offshore release engineers and onshore release managers
Implement and manage fully automated deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps
Perform deployments and participate in coordinated feature release activities into non-production and production environments
Facilitate communication, knowledge sharing, and collaboration between release engineering and other stakeholders
Create, manage, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration
Optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to maintain scalable, reproducible environments
Work with Docker and containerized technologies
Leverage Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and visualization of application performance
Identify and troubleshoot application issues and performance bottlenecks
Create and maintain detailed release documentation and share knowledge with team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

Expertise in automating build and deployment processes across multiple environments
Experience with Azure DevOps tools for CI/CD pipelines, source control, and artifact management
Strong understanding of version control using Git and branching strategies
Hands-on experience with ArgoCD for GitOps-based deployments and managing Kubernetes resources
Expertise in creating, managing, and deploying Helm charts for Kubernetes applications
Solid understanding of Docker, containerization, and orchestration using Kubernetes
Experience in deploying and managing containerized applications on Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS)
Experience with managing base images, image repositories, and Docker container registries in a cloud environment
Proficiency in managing Azure App Services, SQL Databases, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB deployments
Experience using SonarQube and Arnica to ensure high-quality code standards
Experience working with: Drupal (CMS), Keycloak, .NET Core API, React.js & Node.js microservices
Strong problem-solving skills for debugging complex issues in production environments.
Familiarity with Azure PaaS services and integrating it into deployment pipelines.
Experience supporting QA automation efforts and ensuring integration with the CI/CD pipeline.
