About the role

  • Process accounting entries accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Perform calculations and prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements, as required by accounting and tax legislation.
  • Collaborate in the preparation and analysis of financial reports for clients, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial management.
  • Prepare and submit statutory accounting filings, such as SPED Contábil, ECF and other declarations required by regulatory authorities.
  • Respond to client requests related to accounting matters, offering technical support and specialized guidance.
  • Maintain accounting records up to date and in compliance with applicable accounting standards, including journal entries, bank reconciliations and inventory controls.
  • Assist with balance sheet analysis and interpretation of financial indicators.
  • Collaborate with the tax department to ensure proper integration of accounting information with tax obligations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Active CRC registration (preferred).
  • Experience with companies taxed under the 'Lucro Real' (Real Profit) regime.
  • Proven experience with accounting management systems — prior experience with Sistema Domínio is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel: data integration, pivot tables, complex formulas and report automation.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Interpersonal skills for clear, consultative communication.
  • Experience with mining companies will be considered a plus.
