About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic
  • Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring
  • Communicate professionally with customers, end-users, and contractors
  • Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training
  • Lift, position, and install door components weighing up to 110 pounds with lifting aids when needed
  • Climb ladders, kneel, drive, and work in various positions as required
  • Deliver exceptional service and reliable automated door solutions
  • Support customers in healthcare, transportation, retail, and other industries

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Mechanical aptitude with experience repairing electro-mechanical devices
  • Minimum age of 21
  • Must successfully obtain AAADM certification within twelve months of employment and maintain certification as required
  • Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage 120v wiring
  • Access control systems knowledge is a plus
  • Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively
  • Ability to lift and install components weighing up to 110 pounds with lifting aids on an occasional basis, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to climb ladders, kneel, drive, and work in various positions
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotations after certification and training
