About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic
- Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring
- Communicate professionally with customers, end-users, and contractors
- Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training
- Lift, position, and install door components weighing up to 110 pounds with lifting aids when needed
- Climb ladders, kneel, drive, and work in various positions as required
- Deliver exceptional service and reliable automated door solutions
- Support customers in healthcare, transportation, retail, and other industries
Requirements
What you’ll need- Mechanical aptitude with experience repairing electro-mechanical devices
- Minimum age of 21
- Must successfully obtain AAADM certification within twelve months of employment and maintain certification as required
- Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage 120v wiring
- Access control systems knowledge is a plus
- Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware preferred
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively
- Ability to lift and install components weighing up to 110 pounds with lifting aids on an occasional basis, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to climb ladders, kneel, drive, and work in various positions
- Ability to participate in on-call rotations after certification and training
