About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage supplier qualification, assessment, and performance monitoring.
  • Oversee supplier audits and customer-specific requirements (CSR).
  • Monitor supplier KPIs: SPPM, audit scores, delivery performance, SCAR closure rate.
  • Lead APQP activities with suppliers for new product launches.
  • Ensure timely and complete PPAP submissions with correct documentation.
  • Support suppliers through manufacturing trials, capability studies, and run-at-rate verifications.
  • Lead 8D problem-solving activities for supplier-related nonconformities.
  • Ensure containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions are effectively implemented.
  • Manage supplier SCARs and track closure effectiveness.
  • Work with suppliers to improve process capability (Cp, Cpk) and reduce variation.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Program Management teams.
  • Participate in design reviews, DFMA analysis, and provide input on supplier manufacturing feasibility.
  • Support Sourcing in supplier selection with SUS, SQ Audit data.
  • Communicate quality risks, delays, or escalations to leadership when required.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering domain.
  • 5+year experience in supplier quality management, manufacturing or industrial engineering with a focus on mechanical (Die-casting, Plastic injection, Stamping, specially painting/coating)
  • Good knowledge of reading and understanding DWG
  • Good knowledge of using and management of tooling and fixture.
  • Familiar and well use the supplier performance scorecard, supplier evaluation.
  • Experience of using 7 quality tools.
  • Experience of quality and NPI processes like APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, PPAP.
  • Experience of using process capability and root-cause analysis tools: Cpk, PCP, SPC, PDCA, 8D…
  • Strong analytical and technical abilities.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
  • Able to frequently travel to supplier sites.
