About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic
  • Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring
  • Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors
  • Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification
  • Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 100 lbs., climbing ladders, kneeling)
  • Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices
  • Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage (120v) wiring (access control systems a plus)
  • Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
  • High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork
  • Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively.
