About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment.
  • Troubleshoot complex systems, document completed work and provide feedback to improve maintenance strategies and equipment performance.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including conveyors, presses, roll formers, welders, robots, and related systems.
  • Diagnose equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Complete advanced and routine PMs in accordance with established procedures.
  • Accurately document work performed, parts used, and equipment status in the maintenance management system.
  • Provide input and recommendations to improve maintenance plans, reliability, and safety.
  • Support maintenance projects, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist and provide guidance to other technicians as needed.
  • Follow all safety policies, including lockout/tagout and environmental, health, and safety requirements.
  • Work independently on off-shifts as required.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance or a related field preferred
  • Hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong troubleshooting ability across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Demonstrated experience completing preventive maintenance activities independently
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical documentation
  • Root cause analysis and corrective action experience
  • Comfortable working independently and supporting less experienced technicians
  • Willingness to obtain or maintain required certifications (forklift, aerial lift, safety training)
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or off-shift hours as needed
