Key responsibilities & impact

Manage daily accounting functions for national operation with recent expansion into Canada and LATAM.
Direct and supervise internal accountants which performs daily, weekly and monthly accounting tasks.
Participate in the generation of timely and accurate monthly financial and management reporting.
Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Ensure that accounting, control, audit and administrative duties are performed effectively and efficiently.
Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the US, Canada, and Latin America regions.
Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
Utilize the ERP system to streamline financial processes, reporting, and data analysis.
Train and guide finance team members in effectively utilizing ERP system for financial reporting and analysis, as well as monthly reporting into HFM.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis, variance analysis, and performance assessments to identify areas for improvement.
Create comprehensive financial reports and presentations for the executive leadership team as needed.
Ensure all internal and Group deadlines are met in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, required.
8+ years progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
Strong accounting background required including robust knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping, IFRS standards, management reporting and financial KPI monitoring.
Strong expertise in financial management, including experience in QuickBooks and/or SAP is required.
Thorough knowledge of US GAAP and some knowledge in international accounting standards.
Excellent financial analysis and strategic planning skills.
Demonstrated problem solving skills and continuous improvement process skills.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel.
