About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Play a key role in the production process of hollow metal doors and frames.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient and accurate manufacturing of products, maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Operate or learn to operate machinery and equipment according to meet daily production needs while maintaining quality expectations and safety standards.
  • Inspect finished products for quality assurance, identifying and addressing defects or discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions for optimization.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as required.
  • Actively participate in providing a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees.
  • Comply and enforce compliance of all state and federal regulations, Company standards and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent / Technical certification or relevant experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or construction preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to carry 5-30 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to use hand tools, read shop drawings and accurately use a tape measure.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to safety practices and procedures.
  • Ability to follow instructions (both written and orally) in English.
  • Available to work overtime when business demands require.
