About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the management and prioritization of backlogged work orders (W/O).
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure that W/O prioritization aligns with production goals and deadlines.
- Coordinate with the Production Control Specialist to plan, forecast, and allocate materials based on backlog requirements.
- Oversee the timely and accurate allocation of materials to support production schedules.
- Submit move orders as needed to support efficient production flow and assist in mitigating backlog issues.
- Identify and resolve issues related to work order assignments.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of [3-5] years in a similar role, preferably within production, operations, or supply chain management.
- Proven experience in backlog management, work order prioritization, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with material handling, distribution processes, and forecasting techniques.
