About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Improving the performance, reliability, and capability of manufacturing equipment and tooling across roll forming, press operations, automation, and assembly processes
Leading the design, improvement, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems to reduce downtime, improve quality, and increase overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
Identifying and resolving equipment and process issues, enhancing system capability, and supporting new product introduction
Leading capital projects, supporting automation integration, and ensuring equipment and tooling solutions are robust, efficient, and scalable
Collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to drive sustainable performance improvements and alignment on continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical (preferred), Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, with significant exposure to roll forming and press processes
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiar with Lean tools
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; able to work independently
Experience with roll forming mills and tooling design (flower design, pass progression, cutoff tooling)
Familiarity with PLCs, automation, and inline quality systems
Lean/Six Sigma certification
