About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build/assemble test fixtures based off schematic diagrams and documentation.
Demonstrate proficiency in electronics including reading schematics.
Support electrical production lines including troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis of electrical components/assemblies.
Perform design verification and validation tests from a provided test plan.
Document test procedures and laboratory processes to maintain test accuracy and repeatability.
Demonstrate proficiency in mechanical fixturing to support test functions on electromechanical products.
Ability to solder at advanced level including leadless packages.
Strong computer skills and ability to install and use various test tools for testing of prototypes and some production lines.
Collaborate with the embedded design and embedded operations solutions team.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate or bachelor’s degree in related technology preferred with 5+ years of related experience and/or training required.
Familiarity with production line test automation preferred.
Proficiency using EDA tools to read schematics for PCBA troubleshooting/repair
Proficiency in MS Office
LabVIEW or python development experience is a plus
Ability to write reports and business correspondence in English and effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, technicians, and assemblers in English.
