About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and manage contractor accounts to drive adoption and sales of products
Provide support to local distributors, including troubleshooting and resource allocation
Offer on-site jobsite assistance to ensure proper installation and product performance
Conduct product training sessions for contractors, distributors, and end-users
Build relationships within the design community, including architects and engineers
Deliver AIA-accredited presentations and product demonstrations to promote solutions
Maintain in-depth knowledge of local market dynamics, competitors, and opportunities
Operate with autonomy, treating the territory as your own business to maximize growth and efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred)
3+ years of experience in market development, sales, or technical support in the construction or security industry
Technical expertise in perimeter security products, including fencing and access control systems
Experience with jobsite support, training, and presentations (AIA certification a plus)
Ability to travel frequently within the local market for site visits and events (Up to 40%)
Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation
Proficiency in presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint) and basic CRM tools
