Key responsibilities & impact

Growing a territory by executing Door Security Solutions’ sales strategy
Developing and executing sales strategy for the territory in cooperation with the Director of Sales
Directing others on sales goals and activities
Interacting with and making sales calls to key decision makers and influencers in contract hardware arena including distributors, architects, general contractors, construction managers, and end users
Holding regular staff meetings
Building and maintaining a high-performance team by hiring staff, evaluating and coaching employee performance, supporting appropriate training and development methods, and team building
Communicating effectively with various decision makers and influencers
Developing short and long-term sales plans

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree (preference for specialization in related curricula such as: sales, business, architectural design/engineering, construction science/management, or similar)
Minimum of 5 years of industry-related experience
Minimum of 3 years calling into the contract distribution channel
Minimum 1 – 2 years in a managerial role with responsibility for directing staff
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools and other industry-related software for sales and activity reporting
