Territory Sales Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Growing a territory by executing Door Security Solutions’ sales strategy
- Developing and executing sales strategy for the territory in cooperation with the Director of Sales
- Directing others on sales goals and activities
- Interacting with and making sales calls to key decision makers and influencers in contract hardware arena including distributors, architects, general contractors, construction managers, and end users
- Holding regular staff meetings
- Building and maintaining a high-performance team by hiring staff, evaluating and coaching employee performance, supporting appropriate training and development methods, and team building
- Communicating effectively with various decision makers and influencers
- Developing short and long-term sales plans
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree (preference for specialization in related curricula such as: sales, business, architectural design/engineering, construction science/management, or similar)
- Minimum of 5 years of industry-related experience
- Minimum of 3 years calling into the contract distribution channel
- Minimum 1 – 2 years in a managerial role with responsibility for directing staff
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools and other industry-related software for sales and activity reporting
