About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join a skilled agile firmware development team dedicated to developing state of art wireless locks products and systems.
- Collaborate with hardware teams developing the electronics and with software teams developing related mobile apps and cloud software communicating with the device firmware.
- Contribute to planning activities by analyzing requirements, creating specifications, and breaking down implementation work into epics and user stories.
- Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues.
- Continuously explore, evaluate, and implement new technologies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of embedded firmware development
- Excellent programming skills in C
- Experience with ARM Cortex MCUs (M0–M4)
- Strong low‑level debugging skills, including the use of tools such as logic analyzers and oscilloscopes
- Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (e.g. FreeRTOS) as well as bare‑metal development
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, and unit & integration testing
- Technical education in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred)
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
