Firmware Engineer Intern

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with our Engineers and get the opportunity to learn from a highly qualified staff
- Support our engineers with all aspects of development and quality control
- Contribute to the release of a product, including assistance in embedded programming, testing hardware and firmware
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active student status
- Availability to work minimum 20h per week, for at least 14 weeks
- Very good English, both written and spoken
- Programming skills in C and C++
- Experience with embedded development
- Knowledge about basic communication protocols (I2C, SPI…)
- Experience with unit tests
- Experience with version control (git)
- Good written and verbal communications skills in English
- Ability to work in a team, willingness to acquire new knowledge
- Willingness to use AI tools to accelerate development, debugging, and learning
- Nice to have: Experience with Yocto or similar tools (e.g. Buildroot)
- Private project portfolio
- Experience with CI/CD
