Business Development Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive Group-wide projects within strategy and business development
- Support in delivering market insights to senior stakeholder to the group
- Work closely with Commercial and M&A Development in all divisions as well as with Director of Strategy and Business Development and Group Chief Commercial Officer
- Support the Group strategy development process by creating presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with key stakeholders within the group innovation and group sustainability team
- Evaluate new business opportunities through strategic reports and market studies for new markets or product areas
- Establish and maintain insights through analysis of industry, market and customer trends, and competitors’ activities
- Support planning and execution of yearly group strategy conference for top leaders across the group
- Project manage Group-wide development projects in areas such as branding, AI, communications and more
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years of management consulting or business development experience in a similar or adjacent industry, e.g. security, construction, industrial goods, etc.
- Master degree in engineering and/or business/finance/economics.
- Experience from projects within strategy, due diligence and sales & marketing
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to influence complicated and delicate business issues through extensive internal -and sometimes external- interactions.
- Good interpersonal skills, with tact and diplomacy to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Strong communication skills, ability to interact at all levels of the organisation.
- Proficiency in English and a Scandinavian language, both written and spoken, required. Other languages a clear plus given the global nature of the role.
- Position may involve travel according to project type and duration.
- Experience working with international, cross-functional, and cross-cultural teams or have lived and worked in other countries is considered a plus but not a prerequisite.
