About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the operation and configuration of our cloud-centric product and service offerings within KAM
- Developing and enhancing SaaS product offerings with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, observability, and overall, well‑architected principles
- Managing and improving CI/CD platforms and pipelines, driving end‑to‑end automation across code build, testing, deployment, and broader software delivery lifecycles in collaboration with security engineering
- Implementing automation for infrastructure, virtual machines, and containerized environments across multiple rapidly growing cloud platforms
- Supporting the evolution of DevOps culture and practices within the organization
- Managing, maintaining, and continuously improving operational runbooks and playbooks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong experience with public cloud computing, primarily Microsoft Azure, with beneficial knowledge of AWS to support multi-cloud environments
- Solid skills in configuration management and infrastructure-as-code, with required expertise in Terraform/OpenTofu and additional value placed on tools such as Ansible, Pulumi, AWS CloudFormation, and Azure Bicep
- Excellent understanding of core infrastructure concepts including virtual machines, serverless compute, networking, storage, and databases
- Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, build/test automation, and tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, PowerShell, and Bash
- Can manage containerised workloads using Azure Container Apps, AWS ECS, and Docker, with desirable experience in Kubernetes and Helm
- Comfortable working remotely with occasional visits to the Olney office, collaborating effectively with east-coast US colleagues
- Handling some on-call and out-of-hours responsibilities
