About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You’ll interact with customers to provide product information, process orders, resolve issues, and deliver technical support.
  • You’ll manage new and existing relationships, provide quotes, and ensure customer satisfaction from start to finish.
  • Serve as the primary contact for Tell Manufacturing clients via phone, email, or in person.
  • Submit orders, provide quotes/estimates, and communicate product features and benefits.
  • Support the Sales team in closing deals and meeting customer needs.
  • Provide technical support for installation and troubleshooting of door hardware products.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints, escalating when necessary.
  • Research special product orders and coordinate with procurement for sourcing.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and order tracking.
  • Prepare RMAs for returns and shipping discrepancies.
  • Contribute to sales materials and customer communications.
  • Special assignments as required.
  • Maintain a safe and harmonious working environment holding self and others accountable to OSHA and ASSA ABLOY standards.
  • Assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma, GED, or Associate degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–5 years of sales/customer service experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and reasoning abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail
