About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Managing all technical and coordination aspects of assigned projects
Working closely with customers, architects, contractors, and internal teams
Providing technical support to customers and architects throughout the project lifecycle
Reviewing architectural plans and specifications to prepare accurate customer submittals
Coordinating hardware, door, and frame requirements to ensure functionality and compliance
Verifying shop drawings and manufacturing details for accuracy and manufacturability
Producing detailed drawings using CAD software
Handling technical inquiries and resolving discrepancies or application conflicts
Supporting business growth initiatives and customer expansion opportunities
Meeting productivity, quality, and lead-time goals
Participating in ongoing training and professional development

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree or technical degree preferred
5+ years of estimating or project-related experience in the hollow metal door openings industry
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, codes, and hardware schedules
Knowledge of building codes and labeling requirements
Proficiency with Microsoft tools; AutoCAD experience preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
