About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Managing all technical and coordination aspects of assigned projects
- Working closely with customers, architects, contractors, and internal teams
- Providing technical support to customers and architects throughout the project lifecycle
- Reviewing architectural plans and specifications to prepare accurate customer submittals
- Coordinating hardware, door, and frame requirements to ensure functionality and compliance
- Verifying shop drawings and manufacturing details for accuracy and manufacturability
- Producing detailed drawings using CAD software
- Handling technical inquiries and resolving discrepancies or application conflicts
- Supporting business growth initiatives and customer expansion opportunities
- Meeting productivity, quality, and lead-time goals
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree or technical degree preferred
- 5+ years of estimating or project-related experience in the hollow metal door openings industry
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, codes, and hardware schedules
- Knowledge of building codes and labeling requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools; AutoCAD experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
