Key responsibilities & impact

Identify key architectural, design, and engineering firms that work on institutional project types tied to our core vertical markets including Healthcare, Higher Education, K-12 Education, and Government markets.
Cultivate consulting relationships with architectural design team influencers and specifiers.
Identify and secure opportunities to prepare door and hardware specifications.
Provide timely and accurate product information for use in commercial project specifications.
Deliver targeted continuing educational programs highlighting new products, solutions, and design-assist professional services.
Assist with product substitution and approval procedures and follow up to ensure specifications are held in the bid process.
Utilize Salesforce.com as a customer relationship, project tracking and time management tool.

Requirements

What you’ll need

College/University degree (preference for specialization in related curricula such as: architectural, design/engineering/drafting, construction science/management, business, or similar)
minimum high school/GED diploma
At least 2-3 years’ industry related experience in architectural representation, specification writing, or Design-Build construction management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting
Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus.
