About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for calling on Facility Managers, Security Directors, IT Directors, and Construction and Planning Departments within an end user account
  • Partner with local selling partners including wholesalers, integrators, locksmiths, and distributors
  • Develop short and long-term sales plans
  • Identify and classify the sales potential of each client
  • Establish a network of clients with a high level of trust
  • Sell opening solutions as a consultant using a communication approach that can be effective with a diverse audience
  • Apply discovery abilities including prospecting, profiling, qualifying, identifying client needs, and presenting solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College/University degree preferred in architectural design/engineering, construction science/management, or similar
  • Minimum 2 – 3 years of sales experience with building material or construction-related experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting
  • Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus
