About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for calling on Facility Managers, Security Directors, IT Directors, and Construction and Planning Departments within an end user account
- Partner with local selling partners including wholesalers, integrators, locksmiths, and distributors
- Develop short and long-term sales plans
- Identify and classify the sales potential of each client
- Establish a network of clients with a high level of trust
- Sell opening solutions as a consultant using a communication approach that can be effective with a diverse audience
- Apply discovery abilities including prospecting, profiling, qualifying, identifying client needs, and presenting solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- College/University degree preferred in architectural design/engineering, construction science/management, or similar
- Minimum 2 – 3 years of sales experience with building material or construction-related experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting
- Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus
