About the role
- Technical support: Hotline for door and gate automation, including telephone assistance with mechanical installations, wiring, parameter configuration, troubleshooting and safety checks.
- Troubleshooting: Resolving issues with door and gate automation systems, both remotely by phone and on-site at installation sites when required.
- Complaint management: Handling and coordinating customer complaints to ensure fast and effective resolution.
- Repairs & installation: Carrying out repairs and installations, as well as managing and supplying spare parts.
- Warehouse support: Assisting with warehouse tasks, such as transporting and organizing spare parts.
Requirements
- Completed training as a mechatronics technician (Mechatroniker) or an equivalent qualification in the electrotechnical field.
- Experience in metalworking (e.g., grinding, cutting) and ideally experience in door and gate automation.
- Solid knowledge of electrical wiring in both low- and high-voltage systems.
- Experience in similar technical roles, preferably in HVAC, access control systems, industrial automation, or automotive repair.
- Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken; good English skills; and proficiency with common IT systems, particularly Microsoft Office.
