About the role

  • Responsible for generating CNC Turret Punch Press
  • Reading and interpreting technical blueprints
  • Inputting design specifications
  • Performing quality checks on the final product
  • Troubleshooting any issues that arise during the manufacturing process
  • Enter information provided by Order Entry Department into the manufacturing system
  • Program components for release to production
  • Handle technical inquiries from manufacturing and order entry team
  • Interpret hardware templates and utilize correct coding macro
  • Continually promotes a safe and harmonious working environment

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree Engineering Technology, preferred
  • Two (2) – five (5) year’s CAD/CAM systems, required
  • Previous experience in a metal working shop, preferred
  • Previous experience in commercially available systems, required
  • Demonstrated intermediate-level math skills with a familiarity and proficiency relating to Geometry
  • Excellent computer skills required (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, email, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organizational, planning and follow-up skills, and a sense of urgency are required
  • Ability to sit, stand and walk daily through manufacturing facility (101,000 sq ft)
  • Ability to work on weekends, when needed
  • Must be willing to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Occasional overtime required
