About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for generating CNC Turret Punch Press
Reading and interpreting technical blueprints
Inputting design specifications
Performing quality checks on the final product
Troubleshooting any issues that arise during the manufacturing process
Enter information provided by Order Entry Department into the manufacturing system
Program components for release to production
Handle technical inquiries from manufacturing and order entry team
Interpret hardware templates and utilize correct coding macro
Continually promotes a safe and harmonious working environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Bachelor’s Degree Engineering Technology, preferred
Two (2) – five (5) year’s CAD/CAM systems, required
Previous experience in a metal working shop, preferred
Previous experience in commercially available systems, required
Demonstrated intermediate-level math skills with a familiarity and proficiency relating to Geometry
Excellent computer skills required (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, email, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good organizational, planning and follow-up skills, and a sense of urgency are required
Ability to sit, stand and walk daily through manufacturing facility (101,000 sq ft)
Ability to work on weekends, when needed
Must be willing to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
Occasional overtime required
