About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for calling on Facility Managers, Security Directors, IT Directors, and Construction and Planning Departments within an end user account.
- Partner with local selling partners including wholesalers, integrators, locksmiths, and distributors to maximize positive impact with end user accounts.
- Develop short and long-term sales plans.
- Identify and classify the sales potential of each client.
- Establish a network of clients with a high level of trust, developing relationships quickly and easily.
- Sell opening solutions using a communication approach effective with a diverse audience.
- Apply discovery abilities including prospecting, profiling, qualifying, identifying client needs, and presenting solutions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- College/University degree in architectural design/engineering, construction science/management, or similar, or work experience commensurate with minimum high school/GED diploma
- Minimum of 2 – 3 years of sales experience, with building material or construction-related experience preferred
- Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting
- Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus
- Ability to travel (60% - 70% locally)
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material for sale presentations
