About the role
- Work closely with architectural professionals advising on the design and specification of door openings.
- Cultivate strategic relationships with architectural design team influencers and specifiers.
- Identify and secure opportunities to prepare door and hardware specifications.
- Provide timely and accurate product information for use in commercial project specifications.
- Deliver targeted continuing educational programs highlighting new products and solutions.
- Utilize Salesforce.com as a customer relationship, project tracking and time management tool.
Requirements
- College/University degree (preference for specialization in related curricula: architectural, design/engineering/drafting, construction science/management, business, or similar)
- 2 - 3 years’ industry related experience in architectural representation, specification writing, or Design-Build construction management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting
- Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus.
- Ability to travel (up to 80%) within an assigned territory and meet the requirements of customers.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material for sale presentations.
