About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work closely with architectural professionals advising on the design and specification of door openings.
Cultivate strategic relationships with architectural design team influencers and specifiers.
Identify and secure opportunities to prepare door and hardware specifications.
Provide timely and accurate product information for use in commercial project specifications.
Deliver targeted continuing educational programs highlighting new products and solutions.
Utilize Salesforce.com as a customer relationship, project tracking and time management tool.

Requirements

What you’ll need

College/University degree (preference for specialization in related curricula: architectural, design/engineering/drafting, construction science/management, business, or similar)
2 - 3 years’ industry related experience in architectural representation, specification writing, or Design-Build construction management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting
Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus.
Ability to travel (up to 80%) within an assigned territory and meet the requirements of customers.
Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material for sale presentations.
