About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the South African Business Development Team
- Develop and execute a national strategy to expand Impro’s installer, integrator, and consultant ecosystem.
- Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new opportunities with end-users, consultants, engineers, and specifiers.
- Conduct visits, meetings, and briefings to establish ASSA ABLOY as a Trusted Advisor in digital access control.
- Work closely with product managers, engineering, and internal teams to ensure strong solution design and tender responses.
- Maintain accurate reporting, CRM updates, activity tracking, and forecasting.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Grade 12/Matric
- Previous exposure to sales, business development, or customer facing roles.
- Basic technical curiosity or interest in digital or electronic solutions.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage.
- Ability to travel for customer visits, events, and industry engagements.
- Valid Code 8 driver’s license
