About the role
- Cultivate relationships with architectural design team influencers and specifiers.
- Identify and secure opportunities to prepare door and hardware specifications.
- Provide timely and accurate product information for use in commercial project specifications.
- Deliver targeted continuing educational programs highlighting new products, solutions, and design-assist professional services.
- Assist with product substitution and approval procedures and follow up to ensure specifications are held in the bid process.
- Utilize Salesforce.com as a customer relationship, project tracking and time management tool.
Requirements
- College/University degree (preference for specialization in architectural, design/engineering/drafting, construction science/management, business, or similar)
- Work experience commensurate with, minimum high school/GED diploma
- 1 - 2 years’ industry related experience in architectural representation, specification writing, or Design-Build construction management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting
- Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus.
