About the role

  • Cultivate consulting relationships with architectural design team influencers and specifiers
  • Identify and secure opportunities to prepare door and hardware specifications
  • Provide timely and accurate product information for use in commercial project specifications
  • Deliver targeted continuing educational programs highlighting new products, solutions, and design-assist professional services
  • Assist with product substitution and approval procedures and follow up to ensure specifications are held in the bid process
  • Utilize Salesforce.com as a customer relationship, project tracking and time management tool

Requirements

  • College/University degree (preference for specialization in related curricula such as: architectural, design/engineering/drafting, construction science/management, business, or similar)
  • Minimum 2 – 3 years of industry-related experience in architectural representation, specification writing, or Design-Build construction management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting
  • Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus
